Tell us about yourself
I started taking photographs at 13, when I picked up the family camera and photographed weeds in the backyard… They were surprisingly good so I kept at it and here I am. In 2013 I went to MSU for a BFA in photography, ended up getting married and transferring here to UAH. Last March, while networking and looking for photographic needs I realised that there are a ton of good businesses… but very few have a good presence on the web.
What does your business do?
My business does photography for social media and websites. So it’s my job to stay up to date on the trends and themes to help you tell your story with photographs so that you can grow your brand from a more genuine perspective.
Why are you at Huntsville West?
I’m in HSV West for the community, workspace, and to have a meeting place for consultations. I’m also here to help promote Huntsville West along with the people and productivity that happen here.
What project are you working on right now?
Besides Humans of Huntsville West, I’m working on a collaborative project with an out of town photographer. She’s going to come in to take lifestyle family photos while I take commercial shots for social media for local businesses. Before that happens, I have to set up a campaign and actually get people to sign up.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your business?
I get to meet amazing business people and work with them. That’s pretty rewarding in itself.
